Thanks to all who asked questions, showed up, and/or gave their comments. The first Moscow English Conversation Club happy hour at "Sorry, Babushka!" was a lot of fun. We'll do three more there, including tonight at 7:00. The management presented many more specials than they promised (!?), not just twofers on rum & coke, gin & tonic, vodka & tequila, but also twofers on beer, wine, classy whiskey, heck, practically everything. And specials run not only 'til 8:00 pm, but 8:30. There are food specials, too, and the twofers begin at 5:00. DJ starts at 9:00.
Come one, come all, if you're reading this, you're invited. And we're not giving out English tests or anything, you can bring friends who don't speaka ze Eengleesh, if they can be patient through the English trivia contests
We need an extra strong showing tonight at "Sorry, Babushka!" if we're going to continue meeting there! Come and bring friends! We suggest you our traditional trivia with alcohol prizes, disco, jenga + some funny contests and maybe mafia game. Besides, don’t forget about our Happy Hours – till 8.30 pm you buy 1 alcohol beverage and have the second one for free.
